The main roof structure is manufactured using wall plates, eaves beams, hip and transom bars which are fabricated in robust aluminium box sections which are boosted with steel reinforcements when larger designs push the boundaries. These strong structural bars mean there is no requirement for a tie bar system which makes the internal space feels large and airy, ideal for hanging a focal point chandelier.

100mm base insulation – between the bars, retaining the heat within the room
50mm top insulation – which insulates the bars and eliminates potential thermal bridging issues creating a true ‘warmroom’ structure
Breathable, waterproof membrane – this sits between the top panels and tiles to assist with weatherproofing
Eaves beam – robust aluminium section with internal air pocket creating an addition thermal properties
Guttering – is an important element to the roof as it directs the flow of rain water away
Tile – traditional or modern design these polypropylene tiles overlap in the conventional method to give the perfect waterproof finish
A closer inspection of the roof shows the thought and design behind the system. Ensuring the best thermal insulation possible with a U-value of 0.18 W/m2K
