There are no tell-tale diagonal welds or joints that normally identify a uPVC window, the transom and mullion joints are finished as a butt joint – just like a timber window. Not only does this add strength and rigidity, it accurately mimics the way original timber frames were joined. The patented Timberweld technology creates the most authentic timber mortise and tenon joints on the market. The joints on the frame and sashes are welded for strength, they have the appearance of traditional horizontal butt joints on the frame and vertical butt joints on the sashes.
Timberlook wood-effect flush sash windows are more suited to modern living than timber window. They included a refined full ovolo decoration internally, with elegant finishing touches to complete and enhance the traditional appearance, such as antique black monkey-tail handles or dummy peg stays.
NiCo Hardware
These windows are protected by NiCo ram bolt bi-directional locking system. With a minimum of 4 bi-directional locks on each sash securing the openers the full height of the opening sash, in addition the hinges act as 2 extra securing points.
When trickle ventilation is required, it is usually rather unsightly externally. We don’t believe in spoiling the appearance of your window or property – if your project includes trickle ventilation, they can be concealed by a head drip on the Timberlook outer frame.

As beautiful as real timber is, it can swell, shrink, warp or twist depending on the weather. Wooden window frames are expensive to buy, and need ongoing care and attention – sanding and painting. Timberlook Flush Sash Windows simply don’t need that sort of maintenance, other than the occasional wipe down with a damp cloth and a lubricating spray on the moving parts, there is no painting, warping or rot and no hassle.
